NLS - Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie
The VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring (now called NLS) is the largest grassroots series in the world. Nine times a year, 170 race cars - from close-to-production touring cars to full-blown GT3 cars - start on the world's most beautiful and demanding race track, the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
ADAC TOTAL 24h-Rennen 2020
Opened in 1927 this track (Nürburgring and Nordschleife combined together) has 25,980 kilometers, officially 73 curves and up to 18 % gradient. Formel-1-Legend Jackie Stewart gave this track the name „Green Hell“ as he was so fascinated about it. Since then there are a lot of myths, dramatic and heroic stories around and on this longest and most difficult track in the world. With the help of the state Rheinland-Pfalz and ADAC the ring could get his new shape in 1984. In the following years the area around the Nürburgring could step up as well as a touristic and adventure experience and especially turns into an epic place during the 24h.
